Disney in Pictures

Bapa & Grandma took us for the girls first trip to Disney at the end of February.  It made it extra special because Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary joined us.  Its only been about 4 months now, but I am already dying to go back.  The kids talk about it all the time - like the "Ariel ride" or the "dirty foot at Pirates of the Caribbean".  They often play "Disney" in the playroom where they put cushions and chairs together like a car and pack up and drive to Disney.

This time, Will could ride everything except the Rockin' Roller Coaster.  He LOVED Space Mountain, and Ellis and I loved getting to ride it with him.  He wanted to be a "big boy" and ride Expedition Everest with Uncle Steve, but when we got off the ride, he was clearly a bit freaked out by that one!

We had such a wonderful time despite the fact that it was FREEZING!!!  I have never been to Disney when it was that cold.  By the fourth day, the low at night was in the low 40s and the WIND BLEW HARD!  It felt like 20 degrees.  The kids had 20 thousand layers and were still cold.  But we still had an awesome time and I am ready to go back with them now!

First day - Catie is guiding  us through the resort.

Carter and Grandma are off to the parks!

Almost there!  Lets the Memories Begin!
Who do we meet right away, but Catie's "Meow Meow."  We got the Aristocats baby kitten stuffed animal for her the last time we went to Disney and she sleeps with "Meow Meow" every night.  It was rather magical for her to actually meet "Meow Meow" as soon as we arrived!

Despite Catie's love for Ariel, she FREAKED out when Ariel was big, and tall, and talked! We waited in line for about 30 minutes to meet Ariel, but Catie is hiding around the corner.  Will and Carter loved talked to Ariel though!

Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary met us in the park later that afternoon.  Yay!

Waiting outside the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater at Hollywood Studios - a tradition!

Did I mention it was cold?  One night, so that all the adults could take turns on the Rockin' Roller Coaster, they each got to pick out a special stuffed animal.  Then they bundled up in like 4 layers and a big fleece blanket!

Its a Small World!

My one regret...this is the only picture of all of us together.  GRRR.  Should have just taken the time to get one of all of us in front of the castle! But thanks to Bapa, we at least have this one!

The girls attempted to "direct traffic" before one of the parades.  They danced a little too for everyone.
