Beach Trip (Part 1)

Between Ellis and Bapa, I have so many great pictures to show from the beach.  I'm trying to be selective.

We had a wonderful time at Isle of Palms this year with Bapa and Grandma and Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary.  HUGE thanks to my parents for making this beach week possible for all of us.  This time, they rented a house and it had more than enough room for everyone and my crazy kids.  I really really hated to leave this time.  A beach with 3 little kids is not a relaxing vacation, but it was a lot of fun.

Will's favorite thing at the beach, once again, was just playing in the waves.  I got him to play in the sand a little bit more this year with his sisters, but for the most part, he stayed in the water.  Like her brother, Carter was a big fan of the water and waves too.  Catie, on the other hand, loved the sand.  Carter would get upset if she got too dirty with the sand, but Catie dug right in each day.  For the most part, Carter did not mind losing her balance in a little wave, but Catie would scream as soon as a rolling tide would force her to sit down.  (I think Catie is a bit of control freak and did not like the waves telling her what to do!)

Here are pictures from the first day of the beach:

Carter laughing at the waves.  (Catie is bravely approaching in the background.)

Carter is starting to get a little unhappy about the sand on her!

I had to post this for posterity.  This is the perfect example of Will's breakfast every single day for the last couple of years.  Glass of milk and a breakfast bar on a paper towel.  Every. Single. Day.  And note Lovey on the table - still Will's favorite snuggle blanket.
How sweet is this picture!
