More Beach Pix

We had a wonderful time this year with Bapa and Grandma at the beach.  Faith came with us and it was awesome to have the extra hands to keep hold of the kids.  Beach with the kids didn't seem quite as exhausting as it usually is.  And it was great to have a chance to spend a week with Faith before she moved back home with her husband, Justin, who also was able to spend a night with us at the beach.  Will was in heaven with Justin there who he claims is his "best bud."

All the kids loved the beach.  Will once again had absolutely no fear of the waves, and since he now knows how to swim - it makes life much easier (and safer!) for us.  With the girls in their puddle jumpers, I wasn't too worried about them either.  (Puddle jumpers are the best invention ever.)  Carter liked to stay shallow with the waves, but Catie loved to go in the deeper waters with Mommy once in a while.

It was really a great time ... and seems so long ago already!

Bapa taught Will to fly a kite -- a bat kite like Batman, of course!

Will is capable of getting so tired that he will fall asleep during the day -- WHO KNEW?!
