Apple Picking & Cooking

On Friday, Will and I finally made it up to an apple orchard with friends to pick some fresh apples. Will had a blast, and I loved the time for him to have a play date - but, I was really tired. I'm sure being pregnant with twins had nothing to do with it. :-)

This weekend, I discovered how easy it was to cook with Will and how much he enjoyed it. He helped me make an apple crumble with our apples and he helped me make Halloween cupcakes. I would measure the ingredient and he would put it in the bowl. He loved cracking the eggs - and was actually pretty good at it. And the mess was even minimal. It was a great way to keep him entertained when it is cold and wet outside too!
