Its amazing what people will say ----
Maintenance guy at work: "You must be due any day!"
Me: "I have about a month."
Maintenance guy: (Eyes bulging out of his head) "A month?!!!"
Produce guy at grocery store: (In an extremely loud voice) "WHOA! Look at that!"
Me: (looking a little flabbergasted at his outburst)
Produce guy: (still in loud voice) "You know, in medieval times, it was good luck to rub a woman's pregnant belly."
Me: "Its not anymore!!"
Girl at daycare: (as she passes by me in the hallway with some other people) "Wow! I feel so bad for her. I am so glad I am not pregnant."
My husband this morning: (passing by me in a doorway and placing hands on my belly so he doesn't bump into me) "WHOA!"
Me: "You know its bad when your own husband says "whoa" when he passes by you."
One of my favorites that I get from lots of people: "You look tired."
Now when is that ever a nice thing to say?? [however, I should add the caveat that this is totally different if a good friend says it - different context and different meaning to which I don't take offense]
I know there are more but I can't think of them right now. I get lots of great comments too - like I look great for carrying twins or don't look like I'm carrying twins. Although, I sure as heck feel like I'm carrying twins!
I know, I know - I need to post a picture.

People just have no concept of how they sound. Old people are the worst because they seem to have lost their internal censor. In the receiving line at my grandmother's funeral one of her friends that I've known my whole life said "Well, they can't call you the chubby one anymore." All i could do was say "Oh, thank you". There should be a book for all the stupid things people say to pregnant women and at funerals.
I saw you walking up Gervais yesterday (from the car) and was most impressed at how great you looked and that you were headed up hill in work clothes. I would have been eating takeout in ugly pants and Dansko clogs.
I cannot believe those comments!!! You did have us laughing b/c you handled them all very well! I know you look fabulous. :-)
I feel your pain . . . I feel your pain.
